It's true, the greatest rock and roll band ever is having a reunion tour, but their show will cost $50 to see. For a much more casual, personal experience, come to It's a Grind at the corner of Fillmore and Centennial on Friday, March 16th. Have a cup of gourmet coffee and a scone, and listen to some good music in the comfort of your hometown.

Consider this my RSVP. I'm excited to see you play for what will probably be the first time since I graduated from high school.
Can that possibly be true? It's been over ten years, and you haven't seen me play? Believe you me, we're better than any band I played with in high school with the possible exception of the MOB.
I seriously think it has been since YOU graduated from HS. I've seen you do worship a few times, but not much else. Literally, the last I remember is you playing with MOB at Acacia. That's been something like 12 years. Since you've played fairly regularly in those intervening years, that makes me a pretty crappy friend.
I prefer to think of you as a behind-the-scenes, silent-but-deadly kind of friend rather than a crappy one.
Maybe you should add "eternal optimist" to your band responsibilities.
